✨7 days of Cacao

Day 1: Morning drink

Whisk grated cacao into warm water or Plant based milk. Add a little honey or maple syrup if trully necessary. 💞Share with a loved one, it always tastes better.💞

Day 2: Breakfast oats

Sprinkle cacao shards onto your oats and top with banana, nuts, and a pinch of salt.

Day 3: Smoothie

Blend cacao cuttings with banana, nut butter, plant milk, or add ice for a light smoothie.

Day 4: Yogurt bowl

Stir in shaved/ cut cacao into yogurt, add granola, or seeds.

Day 5: Coffee/ Matcha boost

Whisk or blend a little cacao into your coffee or matcha for a mocha-style drink.- add ice if needed.

Little note: Start with about 10-15 g per serving. For the cacao flavor to stay prominent, Sweeten only if necessary. If it’s very strong, use less at first, as time goes by, you`ll start using more. ☺️

Day 6: Snack balls

Mix shavings/ cuts of cacao with mashed dates, nuts and cinnamon, add some extra cacao powder if needed, then roll into small energy balls for a rich snack.

Day 7: Savory twist 🌽 It’s magic with roasted chicken/veggies.

Mexican Chili Mole (sauce).

🌶️ 2–2½ cups broth (chicken or vegetarian)

🌶️ 3 dried ancho/pasilla chiles (or similar), soaked until soft

🌶️ 1 small onion, chopped

🌶️ 2 garlic cloves

🌶️ 2–3 tbsp tomato paste

🌶️ 1 tsp ground cumin

🌶️ 1/2 tsp oregano

🌶️ 1/2 tsp cinnamon

🌶️1–2 tbsp raisins

🌶️ 3day old bread piece - thickens sauce

🌶️50 g almonds

🌶️50 g sesame seeds

  1. In a pan, Stir in garlic cloves, chopped onion, almonds, sesame- about 5 minutes.

  2. Add chopped dried chiles and veggie / chicken broth, bringing it to a simmer.

  3. Cook for 15-20 minutes.

  4. Now blend all listed ingredients together, untill smooth.

In a cast iron pot or pan add the paste and let it simmer gently 15-25 minutes, allowing sauce to thicken.

❤️‍🔥At the end, chop (30–45 g) of the Kaka`w Amor cacao or unsweetened dark chocolate, and Salt to taste and add to sauce.

❤️‍🔥 Allow the cacao to melt while you stir it in.

Easy tip:

Keep a small container of chopped cacao in the a dark cupboard so it’s easy to use during the week.
