Barfuss und Wild

I lay a table under stars—
A feast, radiant and real,
For every version of me
That once wandered too far from light.

For the child who never poured tea
In porcelain cups with make-believe smiles,
But danced instead in silence,
Barefoot and wild beneath her skin.

For the daring girl
Who chased escape in fumes and shadows,
While laughter echoed down the hall—
She sought touch before tenderness,
But still, she sought.

For the teenage heart
That held bottles like secrets,
Drinking to blur the weight
Of unspoken storms.

For the bride who whispered yes
When her soul said no,
Swallowed her voice
To keep the peace
That never stayed.

For the woman who searched for warmth
In passing arms,
And mistook survival
For desire.

And now, I raise a glass
To every shade I've worn,
To every path I've crossed.

I forgive. I embrace. I rise.
